The Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) is holding a community forum for undocumented youth and parents who want to learn more about the new deferred action policy, which will allow DREAMers to apply for temporary work permits and to be safe from deportation. Lawyers and organizers will provide information regarding the deferred action policy, including: eligibility requirements, what you can do to get ready to apply when the process is announced around mid-August, and how to protect yourself from misinformation.
