KPOPCON is a two-day gathering that strives to unite fans of all backgrounds to celebrate the continuously evolving K-pop world in a social, creative, and academic setting. Every year, Korean pop music continues to gain more love and attract fans in various international communities. Last year at our inaugural event, KPOPCON brought together over three hundred fans for the sake of appreciating K-pop. This year’s theme, “Volume Up,” conveys our sincere hope to create an even more energetic and worthwhile convention.
This endeavor is driven mainly by the passion and hard work of a group of students dedicated to providing the best possible experience for fans. We aim to bring together like-minded individuals from across the nation to foster stronger fan relationships, provide university-level educational workshops and discussions, and positively impact fan identity. Fans can share their talents, thoughts, and interests in a dynamic setting while learning from one another and creating lasting memories.
